Hello everyone. I filed a formal sworn affidavit and gave it to my MP Bardish Chagger along with the letters provided from other delegates regarding Line 9 concerns. This information is going to Trudeau's cabinet for review. To date Line 9 still isn't up to CSA code due to the lack of dual valves along Major Water Ways. Over 80 major water crossings remain unprotected and the NEB's own documents prove it.

I submitted a copy of the affidavit to the Federal Information and Privacy Commissioner for the systematic spying that took place as well and provided the access to information data I secured from the NEB to prove it. They are reviewing my submission currently.
The Federal Environmental Commissioner's report was released and found the NEB lacking in regards to compliance issues. Half of the cases they investigated showed that the NEB was failing to secure that conditions and orders were reasonably being met. Here are the key links;
Audit at a glance; http://www.oag-bvg.gc.ca/internet/English/att__e_41033.htmlFull report http://www.oag-bvg.gc.ca/internet/English/parl_cesd_201601_02_e_41021.htmlVideo http://www.oag-bvg.gc.ca/internet/English/parl_vid_e_41042.html
The NEB recently released a public warning about non compliant pipe fittings sold to Canadian pipeline companies. The concerns regard a pipeline fittings purchased from Canadoil Asia with production originating in Thailand as well as EZEflow Group from 2005 to 2008. http://www.neb-one.gc.ca/sftnvrnmnt/sft/dvsr/sftdvsr/2016/2016-02-05gnrlrdr-eng.html

Both these fittings may be in use currently on Line 9.  I found in this report that Westover terminal has EZEflow Group fittings as mentioned here: https://docs.neb-one.gc.ca/ll-eng/llisapi.dll/fetch/2000/90464/90552/92263/2404881/2404387/2671131/Leave_to_Open_Application_-_A4G8W3.pdf?nodeid=2671010&vernum=1
Canadoil admits they provided materials to Enbridge but were not specific on which projects they were being used on. http://www.canadoilgroup.com/Industry2

Council of Canadians created an excellent video featuring whistle blower Evan Vokes who speaks openly on the regulations of the pipeline industry and the culture that exists where cost and schedule models of doing projects is preventing workers from taking the time to do the job right. Here he is speaking of these issues in regards to Energy East pipeline https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HUSKh1nIPV8
The Chippewas of the Thames filed their appeal regarding the lack of First Nation's consultations and fundraising is underway to support the coming court case. Here is the link for folks to donate: https://www.gofundme.com/chippewas
Now in terms of the costs, TD securities just went public with the fact that most oil ventures can't cover their costs.  http://www.financialpost.com/m/wp/blog.html?b=business.financialpost.com/news/energy/canadian-energy-companies-selling-off-jewels-in-the-crown-to-keep-oilsands-operations-afloat
Alberta Government admits that last year's oil priced at $37.33 US WTI (Cushing Oklahoma oil)  = $22.51 Canadian WCS (Alberta Oil Sands)
Right now WTI prices hit $28US this week. Our oil was well under $20 and Goldman Sachs predicts WTI oil under $20 http://www.thehindu.com/news/cities/mumbai/business/oil-can-slip-below-20-goldman-sachs/article8216867.ece

Just today the National Energy Board released a report on Candian Oil Sands and they priced it at the value of WTI without regard for the Canadian price which negates the true costs of production and our low loonie. In response I filed a complaint with the Competitions Bureau of Canada for misleading advertising and filed a formal complaint on the National Energy Board with the Alberta Securities Exchange Commission.
Below is the email I sent to my MP, MPP and various politicians that pretty much reflects the same info I relayed in my formal complaints.  The letter is below for your reference.
That's the latest update folks!

Subject: NEB report is false and misleads investors. Dear Hon. PrimeMinister, Hon. Premier and Ministers.  The National EnergyBoard released a report February 12, 2016 titled: Canadian Energy Dynamics:Highlights of 2015- Energy Market Analysis.  I reviewed a pressrelease which I have included in the attachments and the website for thisreport http://www.neb-one.gc.ca/nrg/ntgrtd/mrkt/dnmc/2015/index-eng.html#s4 For this report the NEBreferenced WTI prices instead of WCS pricing which is, in my view, misleadingand fraudulent.  WTI is from Oklahoma andWCS is Canadian Oil Sands. There is a dramatic price difference between the twoproducts and this is noted in data produced by the Government of Alberta. Inthe attachments I have included the data from Alberta which clearly shows theprice difference. For example, in 2015 the price of WTI was $37.33 US perbarrel vs. $22.51 US for barrel for WCS. Variants include the value of thedollar and production costs. For the NEB to usediscretionary powers to use the US oil values instead of Canadian Oil values ismisleading to investors, bankers, the Canadian public as well as Canadiangovernment agencies and institutions. Why is there no policy in place to demandthat when a Canadian Fiscal report on oil is produced that the values reflectthe actual pricing of our Canadian product?  This is highly disturbing. Canadian pensions,educational funding and other sectors expect to see credible fiscal dataproduced by the NEB but this report is in my view, biased, false andintentionally misleading with a clear intent to overvalue the commodities beingproduced in Canada. This is not reasonable. As of today I have fileda formal complaint with the Alberta SEC as well as the Competitions Bureau ofCanada in regards to this issue but I am worried about the timing of all this. I implore that the Canadian Government act with haste to clarify the truevalue of the commodity with Canadians as a public service. Right now we haveuniversities in dialogue on issues of divestment. We have pensions and fundingdecisions being made. The sooner we can relay accurate information to theCanadian public the better. I don't want to seeCanadians lose money on bad investments. The Wall Street Journal published thatUS and Canadian producers are losing at least $350 million a day at oil'scurrent prices. That article is online here:  http://www.wsj.com/articles/more-cuts-loom-as-oil-nears-25-1455238714 Thank you kindly foryour time. Louisette Lanteigne700 Star Flower Ave.Waterloo Ont.N2V 2L2
