Hi GRENers - hope you've all had a great summer! 

 

FYI, I've been working on a plan to compost dead people and then turn them
into trees and have now finished the details of a Good Green Death Forum on
Sat. Oct. 28 from 1 - 4 pm. Here are details for you to share:

Just want to add this into the mix of the discussion of end of life and
death practices...

 

Quebec has an extensive network of funeral home cooperatives that can serve
as a model for our community. I spoke with Peter Cameron from the Ontario
Cooperatives Association in Guelph, who shared that there are currently two
in Ontario - in Ottawa and Sudbury. I think it fits in well with the concept
of a Good Green Death.
