[All] Climate Event Nov. 29

Hi folks
I'm working with Divest Waterloo and various church groups and Indigenous groups to form a musical climate event focused on Divestment, Social Justice and Indigenous Rights. So far we've secured the Good Hearted Women Singers and we are in the process of verifying the participation of Organic Groove. It's going to be a really fun event.
First planning meeting took place last Tuesday. Waterloo Square is the starting point and we'll walk to an area church. We're looking at finalizing the spot right now. We have a couple of contenders in the area.My friends are looking into it right now. 
The march will go to the facility where we will begin with a smudge ceremony and we'll be featuring guest speakers including Myeengun Henry, Elder of Chippewas of the Thames along with musical performances. 
The focus is on social justice and celebrations for the progress made. It will take place Sunday November 29 and venue is in the process of being confirmed. Start time is 1:30
A planning meeting is happening at the Queens Street Commons on Tuesday Nov. 3rd at 7pm in Kitchener Ontario.  Anyone interested in volunteering or planning is more than welcome to attend.  This is going to be really fun.
