Advocacy - Effectively Working With Government Agencies
Influencing government policy has been a true passion of mine since founding Mindscape Innovations Group. In my opinion, creating change that is sustainable and change that has true impact requires advocacy: working with the government.
With the demands of public office, it is virtually impossible for our elected officials to understand the intricacies of sustainable site development, renewable energy sources, or how electrons and money actually move through our utility grid. Yet public policy is the most effective method to insure we have consistent building and construction practices.
It is because of this that I became a registered Lobbyist. A Lobbyist, despite the negative image that term has sometimes been given, is an important part of helping our government manage the complexities of the exciting new field of sustainability.
Mindscape has a proud history of developing collaboration, and helping our clients to successfully work with government for mutual benefit, and we would love to help you.
You can find out more about our related services and experience on our Government Projects and Services page.
Warmly,
Derek Satnik, P.Eng., LEED® AP
Managing Partner and Chief Innovation Officer
