Hi there,

This is Tamara Shantz writing from Stirling Mennonite Church. I don't know
how far the scope of the GREN community is, but I thought I would share with
you an upcoming film event about the Northern Gateway Pipeline. My
brother-in-law just released a film following a stand up paddleboarder along
the proposed tanker route off the coast of BC. It is quite beautiful and if
you could share this event info with your email list, that would be great!

May 23 7:30 p.m. Join us at Stirling Ave. Mennonite Church for the showing
of the recently released film ³Stand².
Stand is an adventure documentary that follows a stand-up paddleboarder
along the proposed tanker route for the Northern Gateway Pipeline.
Experience the beauty of the Great
Bear Rainforest, listen to the voices of First Nations peoples along the
route, and consider what is at risk if this pipeline is built. Check out
the trailer at: www.standfilm.com <http://www.standfilm.com/>
Tickets $10; Students $7 at the door.

thanks for your help,
Tamara Shantz
