[All] Public feedback needed for Enbridge pipeline 67 by Monday May 13.

Hi everyone

Respondents now have until midnight on May 13 2013 to weigh in on Canadian oil transport giant Enbridge Energy’s plan to double the flow of dilbit through Enbridge Line 67 otherwise known as the Alberta Clipper pipeline. The comment period was originally slated to conclude April 29 but the US state Department has extended the deadline. 

The destination of this oil pipeline is to refineries along Lake Superior however I've read articles indicating the goal may be to eventually ship tar sands oil through the Great Lakes to Texas or China should the Keystone XL be rejected.

Written comments can be emailed to Genevieve Walker at EnbridgeLine67permit at state.gov.

Project details and environmental information on Enbridge’s application are downloadable by visiting the State Department’s website, www.state.gov, and searching “Line 67.”

Here is a news article regarding this matter. Please note the website's URL has an ERROR stating the oil is going to Lake Michigan. This is incorrect. The destination is to LAKE SUPERIOR.
