Subject: Keystone poses a major National Security Threat beyond environmental concerns.

Keystone XL: National Security Threat

The Keystone XL project is being spearheaded by Trans Canada Pipelines Limited and their board members include Nexen. Nexen has recently been purchased by Huawei, a state-owned China National Offshore Oil Co.
In October 2012, a US Congress committee published the results of an 11-month investigation into ZTE and Huawei and the alleged risks these companies pose to US national security.  The report states Huawei was the subject of "credible allegations" of "bribery, corruption, discriminatory behaviour and copyright infringement." and stated the firm "cannot be trusted."

The same day shareholders of a Calgary-based energy company agreed to a takeover bid of Nexen by Huawei, Canada's spy agency CSIS warned such purchases can pose a threat to national security.

If the Keystone XL pipeline is approved, who profits and what risks will that pose for both Canada and the US security?

In my view it is highly unreasonable for the Government to continue to promote the approval of this pipeline while ignoring warnings provided by both Canadian and US National security agencies. To do so, in my view, is grounds for Treason.
