Couldn't have said it any better Daphne.   AMEN    I feel confident  that
the road alignment  will certainly be diverted  as the 'proof appears to be
in the pudding ' to  the powers that be.  Yes  many very informed people

Hi All,
"It was the best of times and the worst of times" to borrow from Tale of Two
Cities. 
I have never been more proud and impressed by the well-informed, eloquent
presentations by caring citizens, who spoke at Kitchener Council tonight. 
We left shortly before midnight, and council had not voted but I suspect
they, at least the majority of them "were not listening then, and did not
listen now" to borrow from the song "Vincent". I hope I'm wrong!
Yvonne, you did a great job! The environmental message, the reasonable
approach, was heard, and presented through many visions. I hope enough
councilors and staff rethought the recommendation. You'll probably know by
the time your read this tomorrow.
Enormous gratitude to all who work to make this city sustainable for us and
all life to come!
