Hi All,"It was the best of times and the worst of times" to borrow from Tale of Two Cities. I have never been more proud and impressed by the well-informed, eloquent presentations by caring citizens, who spoke at Kitchener Council tonight. We left shortly before midnight, and council had not voted but I suspect they, at least the majority of them "were not listening then, and did not listen now" to borrow from the song "Vincent". I hope I'm wrong!Yvonne, you did a great job! The environmental message, the reasonable approach, was heard, and presented through many visions. I hope enough councilors and staff rethought the recommendation. You'll probably know by the time your read this tomorrow.
