[All] Fw: Foodstock Volunteers Needed

Hi folks

Foodstock is happening on October 16th at the Lennox Farm north of Shelburn. David Waters is coordinating volunteers for the day of.  Here is a quick note on the sort of volunteers he's looking for:

We have two shifts (AM 7:30am to 12:30pm or PM 12:30pm to 6:30pm)  All day would be great if you can do that.

I NEED PEOPLE TO HELP WITH PARKING!  We can't do this without volunteers…This is one of the MOST important jobs and the easiest.  
****1 - 27 spots AM - 29 PM to fill for parking duty****
2 - 5 spots left for PM for Chefs helpers and grounds crew
3 - 4 spots left for PM Welcome hosts (Greeters)
4 - 2 spots left for PM Guest Registration (Entrance into event)
5 - 1 spot AM to fill 3 spots for PM Volunteer Registration
6 - 16 spots left for Tear down at the end of the day

Jim Cuddy of Blue Rodeo, Sarah Harmer, Cuff the Duke and Hayden will pay music as the gourmet food is presented. Usually tickets for food events with chefs of this calibre cost $100 or more, but Foodstock is pay-what-you-can in a bid to be inclusive. The suggested donation is $10 and can be paid in advance at http://nomegaquarry.ca or at the gate. The money will be used for legal fees to fight the mega quarry.
