[All] Single-Use Water Bottles

Hello GREN,

An interesting initiative is happening right now with the Waterloo Citizens' Environmental Advisory Committee
 (of which I am a member). Just last night, we struck a subcommittee to 
explore water bottle policy at the City of Waterloo. As a first step, we
 are exploring the feasibility of a ban on single-use water
 bottles from city buildings (with a later possible roll-out to community centres).

Would anyone have thoughts on a good
 place to turn to for ideas/information relevant to such an initiative? Does 
anyone know of any good contacts for discussing this? Already we are thinking of approaching Blue W and Water On Tap (Water Wagon).

An obvious important step towards protecting our existing water resources is for people to use local water (rather than using imported water). Look forward to hearing people's thoughts!
