[GREN-Exec] ON election 2022 update

Hi Everyone,

A few of us met today on Zoom to discuss the format of WR eco-community 
in the Ontario election.

1) We will meet on Zoom weekly on Mondays at 1 pm. Susan K will host on 
Zoom.

2) Format of our involvement, that we can use with all future elections 
including municipal this year:

Create YouTube channel called WR Votes (or something similar) to house 
2-3 minute video zoom interviews with all eligible candidates in 
Waterloo Region running in 2022 Ontario election. All candidates will be 
sent 4 provincially-oriented environmental questions, plus 2 
eco-questions specific to their riding. Each video will be in an 
interview format with a riding celebrity/influencer not necessarily 
involved in environmental issues in order to try and reach beyond the 
usual suspects.

Ideally, we would like 2 interviewers from different demographics - age, 
gender etc - for each riding.

ACTIONS REQUIRED FROM YOU BEFORE MONDAY APRIL 18 MEETING

1) Confirm your participation and your riding and attendance at Monday 
meetings

2) review questions provided noting top 4, and suggested questions for 
your riding

3) recommendations for interviewers

With the complete decimation of all environmental protection by Ford's 
government, we have to speak up louder than ever and extend our reach.
