Susan K's interpretation jibes with my experience. I agree we need to have the discussion with Lulu. Her passion is real and she allows herself to express it in a meltdown because she thinks it's effective for the cause. The emotions are real--but I also think she has choices and control over expressing them. We can tactfully make the point that we do not agree about the effectiveness and so request no public tears in GREN's name.

So that makes 4 cents.

We need to deal with this. Can we call a GREN executive meeting and invite Lulu and very kindly mention these incidents, voice our concern and see how we can help? I broached the topic via email with her. I know that isn't the best approach, but I really got the impression she doesn't feel there's any problem. 

Her husband and family are wonderfully supportive. She's my Facebook friend, so I can see that she takes the time to bake birthday cakes for her husband, cook wonderful meals, go out to dinner, play stupid mindless Facebook games... I'm not friends with her beyond this rather superficial stuff, but I'm also wondering if this is just Lulu's personality and not a meltdown. Does anyone know her on a more personal level than this? 

That being said, I agree with the kind of public face we want for GREN.
