This petition needs support. It is staggering the companies who got the failing grade for exposing public to toxins. Sobeys, Tim Horton’s etc.

The fifth annual Retailer Report Card is out and the results are startling. 
 
We graded six Canadian-owned market-leading retailers on their toxic chemical policies, and four earned an F! Alimentation Couche-Tard (Circle-K, Mac’s, Couche-Tard convenience stores), Metro, Sobeys, and Restaurants Brand International (Burger King, Popeyes, and Tim Hortons) are all failing to properly protect their customers and workers from toxic chemicals.

Hundreds of potentially harmful chemicals are added to products and food packaging we use and eat from every day. The majority of these chemicals have not been tested for safety, and some are known to threaten human health and the environment. With the government’s slow progress to protect Canadians from harmful chemicals, we need retailers to step up and eliminate toxics from their products. 
 
Join us in telling Alimentation Couche-Tard, Metro, Sobeys, and Restaurants Brand International to adopt safer chemical policies that would protect customers and workers, and reduce toxics in products and food packaging.
