Hi All,
I know this Susan from the Horticultural Society. She lives in the Central Frederick area which has been bombarded with developers asking for variances on height, set backs and heritage designations.
It’s very unfortunate that this Council is so pro development in some of the heritage districts even after staff and Council went through 2 years of study and approval of RIENS( residential impacts in existing neighborhoods) !

Have a great weekend

Yvonne Fernandes

Community Liaison Doon Pioneer Park Community Association

Former City of Kitchener Ward 4 Councillor(2010-2018)

Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful,
committed citizens can change the world; indeed; it’s the only thing that ever has. (Margaret Mead)

Groups of concerned neighbours, heritage bodies and environmental groups devote a lot of time and thought to eloquently express their concerns to council about tearing down heritage buildings, removing old trees that will take a hundred years to replace and changing the flavour of neighbourhoods.
