Prime Minister and Ministers
The blockades of rail in Tyendinaga are in response to a clear violation of law. Neither the RCMP not the OPP have jurisdictional powers to arrest Indigenous people on their own territories. This bad theatre fostering social discord not peace. Canada escalated the issue after it was made public in December that lethal watch was permitted on Wetsuweten lands.

B.C. First Nation, RCMP spar over report ‘lethal overwatch’ ordered for northern pipeline arrests
A U.K. media report claims RCMP discussed deploying snipers and removing children when enforcing an injunction at the Wet'suwet'en pipeline blockade in northern B.C.

The Coastal Gas Link pipeline was approved in May 2019 and 65% of the line was sold by @TCEnergy (formerly TransCanada) in December 2019. This puts into question all the insurance, funding models, contractual obligations of Insurance and conditions of approvals and duties to complete environmental assessments into to question. Who is liable for this high pressure pipeline project today? Do they have contractual obligations to address spills or accidents? Do they have adequate insurance? Are they contractually bound to permits required by engineering firms like the water taking permits or CPCN certificates.
All these laws were designed simply to keep the beneficiaries protected, the communities, the water and all people, be they First Nations or Canadians. The laws the companies are violating were intended to protect all our lives. Why let the RCMP help these companies avoid compliance? That is, in my view, both unreasonable and unlawful.
The brave people of Wet'suwet'en and Tyendinaga are doing their part to raise attention to protect not only their rights but the welfare and safety of Canadians too. They are doing their sworn duty as honorable patriots not criminals.
I respectfully request that Canada, CN Railway and the Province of Ontario stand united to remove the RCMP from Wet'suwet'en lands immediately and to assure fiscal and judicial prudence of the Coastal Gas Link project by way of securing an independent audit.
Please remove the RCMP in good faith and don't ever let our police be used as corporate thugs to put us against each other. We all have a sworn duty to protect each other. Let us all honor that.
As it stands Canada, Coastal Gas Link, Ontario and the Province of BC are currently in violation of chapter 35 of the Canadian Constitution, section 25 of the Charter of Rights and in the case of unlawful arrests in Tyendinaga, you stand in violation of the Treaty of Canadaigua 1974, a US trade agreement between Mohawks and the United States of America.
You have no plausible deniability on the concerns provided. You have been reasonably informed of the concerns and I pray you can come together in the spirit of friendship to achieve a reasonable outcome here. Don't allow corporate greed to divide us from law or each other.
Wela'lin/ Miigwetch/Thank you.
