 Hi Everyone
This is a great event to give a public push for Provincial action on climate change. Currently Doug Ford has permitted destruction of endangered species habitats if it creates 50 jobs or more (Which puts at risk natural capital infrastructure providing for our municipal water supplies) , he has tossed out subsidies for electric cars and scrapped environmental retrofit programs, he cancelled programs specific to monitoring for emissions, he's working on removing a botted water ban and he has weakened water policy protection and cut vital funding for flood controls which is  bad news for places like Cambridge, who not only declared a climate emergency, they have declared a climate crisis due to the flood risks. It's also bad news for downstream communities including Six Nations. These changes lacked white paper, fiscal analysis, consultations etc.

So the date folks are working towards is April 17.  There is an upcoming webonair happening on Feb. 26 speaking on this event and information is below for your reference.
