Climate Declaration Motions submitted in Waterloo and Cambridge. Bums in seats needed.

The public debate and Vote for the CITY OF WATERLOO is on Nov. 18th in Council Chambers at City Hall on 100 Regina St. Waterloo.The public debate and Vote for the City of Cambridge is on Nov. 19th in Council Chambers in City Hall at 50 Dickson St. Cambridge. (I haven't seen times mentioned yet but I will update.)

Out with the Asphalt in with the Greenspace! Keatsway Public School saw how their pavement sucks up the heat putting little kids at risk so they are doing away with it to create shade and places to play. To keep with the green theme no machines were used to remove the pavement and asphalt will be recycled. The costs of doing this was less than $10,000 thanks to help from the community.

Enbridge's Major Liabilty Loophole 
This news article flags the fact when an Enbridge subsidiary company makes deals with a US State, Enbridge Inc. is "not contractually obligated" to abide by the terms of the agreements. Injunctions Bias Against First NationsThe team at Yellowhead Institute, an Indigenous-led think tank, reviewed nearly 100 injunction cases.
