 I commented on the Transit service improvements and basically told them to get out of Hidden Valley. I suggest Gren do the same. 
The lights and sounds of the trains and increased traffic impacts have not been measured. There is no completed EA data for this area. 
The River Road extension project was approved 40 years ago before walkerton, before geological risk assessments,  salt risks, endangered species risks and climate change variables. 
I basically guaranteed if they use that route I will legally challenge this using whatever tools I can.

The 2019 service improvements for Grand River Transit (GRT) focus on Cambridge and Doon South area. Provide your feedback via survey and/or by mapping your feedback.  


Regional Water System Upgrades in Cambridge and North Dumfries (new)
The Region is identifying potential system upgrades to improve the water supply system in Cambridge and North Dumfries. Tell us what is important to you when considering potential upgrades. 


Cambridge - King Street Reconstruction (new)The Region will be reconstructing King Street from Dover Street to Bishop Street in the City of Cambridge. Check out the project page for more information and subscribe to get project updates. 


Regional Government Review (new)The Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing is reviewing eight regional governments (Durham, Halton, Muskoka District, Niagara, Oxford County, Peel, Waterloo, York), Simcoe County and their lower tier municipalities.  Where would you like to see bike stations in Waterloo Region? (open)Tell us where you would like bike stations in Waterloo Region. With new bike share technology, renting a bike just got easier.  


Smart Waterloo Region (update)
The Smart Waterloo Region application has been submitted.  Check out the project page for for the application and the the Smart Cities Waterloo Region Finalist Video.  The grand prize winner will be announced in May 2019.  Stay tuned!
