John, when I read the recommendations for the greenbelt I was nodding yes the entire read. This document does a wonderful job of capturing the need to protect this amazing natural system not just bits and pieces, but as a whole in partnership with the amazing efforts created at the local level. We need it stronger not weaker. Amen.
I'm so thankful for the years of advocacy by all the GREN members, our Region and cities and the GRCA. It took everyone to have made it this far. The outreach and public education from all levels helped to empower the public to stand with us on all these efforts as informed citizens.
Big thanks to Kevin for spearheading the Greenbelt locally. That's a huge task but he kept the ball rolling and kept the issue buzzing in social media and papers etc. Awesome job. 
The Greenbelt decision is now in the hands the decision makers but no matter what the outcome is, I am thankful and proud of all of you.
