They are updating species recovery and suggest that Jefferson Salamanders are threatened to a lesser extent by forestry activities, recreational land uses, unauthorized collection, invasive and introduced species, and agricultural land uses.
No word on the fact the MNR study methods drove the Hybrids to the point of being endangered.
