Hi folks
In the attachments are police reports that came as a result of independent investigations I launched against various police officers who obstructed my ability to report concerns of fraud regarding Enbridge and KPMG as well as Kinder Morgan.
These documents include an FOI and written apologies. I secured the written apologies after being the target of sexist comments, poor work conduct and misleading information provided to me by a couple of officers. The complaints could only be focused on their personal conduct because the merits of the issues I tried to report were deemed outside the scope of their ability to review because the RCMP is answerable to the same agency that I'm trying to complain about. However, when good cops behave badly, there is a reason and although they were hogtied, their poor conduct facilitated my ability to secure an independent review of the situation enough to secure written apologies that included disclosure identifying that the PMO's office was involved and that the concerns I raised are reasonably viewed at as "fiscal irregularities" according to the officers.
So we have a system that didn't consider corruption coming from the top and yet it is bubbling over with the ooze of nepotism and alarming tax evasion.
Irving was the driver for Energy East and Line 9 pipeline projects. It's their terminals that receive Saudi oil in St. John's NB. It's their offshore taxes and fiscal trickery that kept New Brunswick from thriving for generations and I highly recommend viewing this video to see the trickery they used to take millions out of the public purse. Many companies have behaved in a similar manner emulating these bad behaviours. https://vimeo.com/124217791
Over the last few years I've been networking with asset risk managers, tax justice advocacy groups. actuaries and various fiscal regulators. The root issues of the pipeline isn't simply the PMO's roll. It is also the responsibility of the big four auditors: KPMG, Deloitte, Ernst Young and Price Waterhouse Cooper and they've been tweaking their books and getting away with some rather nasty collusion and corruption.
Here is an article where a chairman of KPMG in the UK openly says it is 'undeniable' that the audit market is an 'oligopoly'.https://www.ft.com/content/6c07f5d8-591b-11e8-bdb7-f6677d2e1ce8
Now in today's news there is a move by the Labour Ministry of the UK calling to break apart the big four and I highly encourage you to view the short video on this website because it exposes the fiscal logic upon which Canadian pipelines were approved. To put it in a nutshell, they only looked at past and current profit margins without regard for risk exposure or future risks. They didn't even remotely consider the possible impacts of the Paris Accord etc. We can't allow them to continue planning our finances without fiscal prudence. https://t.co/yLrzwUCXaA
Someone asked is the break up of the big four possible in the UK. The short answer is yes. I don't personally think we can stop climate change without these kind of reforms because the phasing out will happen swiftly. 2020 is a hard line date for many nations. Divestment is happening regardless.
