NAthan Cullan (NDP) gave an excellent anti-pipeline presentation in an emergency meeting in BC parliament today or yesterday - he said Kinder Morgan has not even been able to answer simple questions such as: if this type of bitumen enters a body of water will it sink or float.   Dear Hon. Prime Minister, Chiefs et al. 


  I just emailed Mr. Sam Sele at the NEB. I've been communicating with him in regards to concerns I have for Enbridge Line 9 and 10 etc. 


  Technically Enbridge can't switch to bitumen in Line 9 until they address tolls and tariff issues and I haven't heard a word about the Tarrif issues since 2015 when Enbridge requested a delay of the application process.  


  I've also been studying the issue of Kinder Morgan and the flawed price models used and of course I'm now wondering what values Enbridge projected back in 2015 to support the Line 9 project. 


  I have a feeling Line 9, like Kinder Morgan is soon to be fiscally dead if it isn't already.

  Hello Mr. Sele


  Has Enbridge completed any Line 9 Tolls Applications since 2015? The last memo I received about that was in 2015  Enbridge asked to delay that step.



  Has any action been completed on that matter since?


  Also do you have any knowledge on what Enbridge's projected oil and gas rates were in regards to the projected fiscal model supporting this project?


  From what I've observed, the market hasn't been that healthy since 2015. In the attachments are the current values that I saw on the Alberta Dashboard regarding oil and gas prices in Canada.  I'm worried about the fiscal sustainability of the LIne 9 system. I know during that time other firms including Kinder Morgan really overestimated the projected values. I include this article from 2016 below to provide you with that info as well as a 5 year stock chart of Kinder Morgan that I took last night.

  It's been three years at these values and I see no fiscal prudence shown by the key investors to divest of this mess.  I'd like to see the NEB create a mechanism of mandatory fiscal disclosure of risks to be implemented when projection models start to vary radically from the proven results manifested. It's easier to bail water out of a boat early on than to remove the sea when it's already sunk.
