AP7, Sweden's largest pension fund, just divested from ExxonMobile, TransCanada, Westar, Entergy & Southern Corp for breaching Paris Accord.   AP7 said ExxonMobil, Westar, Southern Corp and Entergy had fought against introducing climate legislation in the United States. It also criticized Gazprom for looking for oil in the Russian Arctic and TransCanada for building large-scale pipelines in North America.https://www.reuters.com/article/climatechange-investment-sweden-idUSL8N1JC4ME

To date AP7 divested nearly $100 million. from to 23 coal, 15 oil and gas enterprises.

Gazprom holds the world's largest natural gas reserves with 17% global and 72% Russian Reserves. http://dailycaller.com/2016/03/30/trumps-energy-adviser-is-personally-invested-in-gazprom/?utm_source=site-share

Gazprom is linked to Bribery, corruption and anti-competitive practices

Trump's Energy Adviser is Personally invested in Gazpromhttp://dailycaller.com/2016/03/30/trumps-energy-adviser-is-personally-invested-in-gazprom/?utm_source=site-share
Past Westar CEO was sentenced 18 years for conspiracy, wire fraud, money laundering and circumventing internal controlshttp://www.cbsnews.com/news/ex-westar-ceo-sentenced-to-18-years/

Entergy has a long list of violations and scandals, including company officials providing incorrect information under oath, a 2010 radioactive tritium leak, and three unplanned safety stoppages inside a year. They also used victims of Hurricane Katrina as a means to pay off their corporate fees.   http://corp-research.org/entergy
So this is my view from news of AP7's divestment.
The investment/pension community could be in instrument to push for Paris Accord compliance if they choose to divest from non compliant firms.
Both ExxonMobile and TransCanada were fiscally punished for their non compliance to the Paris Accord but the possibility exists that they may hold the US accountable for the losses of investment monies either by lawsuits or Nafta Challenges since it was the US who approved of Keystone XL after having approved of the Paris Accord.
