[All] GREN on Waterloo Region Land Trust

The rare Charitable Research Reserve has asked us to nominate a member of GREN to the raresites: Land Securement Team for its land trust. We had been forewarned that such an invitation would be coming to GREN and at our February GREN meeting decided that we would nominate Greg M as our member. The invitation came and I have just submitted Greg's name. 

The initial mandate for the raresites that Greg will be part of is to:
develop a conservation land securement strategy, and
develop criteria for properties to be pursued or accepted.

The land trust is an important step forward for the region and I am pleased that GREN has been included. Thanks to Kevin for playing an important role in developing the trust and ensuring our involvement. Thanks to Greg for agreeing to take on this important role.
