We will now be showing the film at 4:15 in room BA102 in the Bricker Academic Building at Wilfrid Laurier University on Sunday January 24th.

In support of the People’s Injunction, Divest Waterloo is partnering with Chippewas Solidarity, Transition KW and concerned citizens to organize a community awareness skating party, rally and film screening on Sunday January 24th. 

Plan to join us at Waterloo Public Square for skating, hot chocolate and cookies to celebrate winter and to learn more about the National Energy Board review process and how this must be overhauled to ensure that credible reviews of the Kinder Morgan Trans Mountain and TransCanada Energy East pipelines can be carried out.  The rally and speakers will be at 3pm.

Following the rally, at 4:15 pm, plan to join us in room BA102 in the  Bricker Academic Building at Wilfrid Laurier University for a community screening of One River Many Relations  - a new Canadian Documentary about the oil sands, environment and Indigenous rights. 
On our way to watch the film, we will stop by Bardish Chagger’s office to ask the federal government to step in and suspend or cancel the reviews of Energy East and the Kinder Morgan Trans-Mountain pipelines and to deliver water samples from the Grand River threatened by the reversal of Line 9.
