[All] Moratorium to protect rare species with proper EA's needed

Hello everyone
I got a letter from the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry that confirms the fact the MNRF has NOT been engaged with critical habitat delineation in regards to the Highland Ridge West Subdivision proposal around Barrie's Lake area  in spite of the fact the project is planned to discharge urban runoff directly into Barrie's Lake while impacting capture zones of ESPAs. 
Let's just say this letter below has made our OMB appeal a whole lot easier. We also found a senior hydrologist to represent the water concerns and he mentioned how the recharge areas here are important to protect the Waterloo Moraine. The fella is an excellent fit for our cause.

Good morning Louisette,    Thank you for your emails submitted to  the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry through MIN Feedback.  I am sending this reply on behalf of one of our Management Biologists.       With respect to the proposed Highland Ridge West subdivision, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry (MNRF) currently has no legislated regulatory approval role or responsibility.
