[All] Final Greenbelt Town Hall Meetings

Hi,

Ella Haley and others in Brantford would appreciate our help to get people out to the last of the Greenbelt Town Hall meetings the province is hosting.  Ella was successful in getting the government to add a session in Brantford at the last minute based on the pressures they are facing in that part of the Grand River watershed.

We need to speak up for our entire ecosystem and help them get as many Greenbelt supportive people out to the meeting on May 12th.  Details are as follows:

Date: Tuesday, May 12th
Time: 6:00pm onwards
Location: Best Western Plus Brant Park Inn & Conference Centre (Ballroom)
Address: 19 Holiday Drive, Brantford

We need to be sure to get across:
1) The need to grow the Greenbelt to protect farmland and natural heritage lands
2) Keep farmland in Ontarians hands (limit foreign ownership)
3) Keep highways out of the Greenbelt

They are also interested in getting local First Nations out - members of the Grand River bands and Caledonia band if you have any contacts please encourage them to attend this meeting.
