Subject: Wetland Habitats destroyed in Waterloo Region again.
A wetland habitat with confirmed endangered species was destroyed in Waterloo Ontario. Someone drained a vernal pool by the Creekside Church at 660 Conservation Drive in Waterloo. An area resident photographed multiple threatened Barn Swallows and midland turtles actively using this ponded feature and it shows the dewatering and damage afterwards. There is a website of the photographs but I do not know if you are authorized to use hyperlinks or not so I've included photos in the attachments as well. Here is the website URL.

This pond was drained dry.
The Waterloo Chronicle published a story about this. Here is the URL: http://www.waterloochronicle.ca/news/down-the-storm-drain/ and I include a PDF copy in the attachments as well. The date of publication of this news story was Wednesday, July 08, 2015.
This is one of MANY wetlands that I have observed destroyed in Waterloo Region without a permit over the years and I include a PDF report to support this which I wrote based in incidents I witnessed.
Issues like this happen at an alarming frequency and based on data I have gathered there is no plausable deniability under some of the circumstances. This conduct and the lack of enforcement has to end.
I have gone to the City of Waterloo and Region of Waterloo repeatedly over many years presenting such concerns by way of numerous emails, council meetings and Provincial officials. I have a binder of the interview I provided to the RCMP on these issues. I went so far as to Chronicle the years worth of Environmental Infringements in affidavit Format which I have already completed. I have documents provided to me by the Ontario Ombudsman suggesting I use the courts. I been in dialogue with legal advisors and I reserve the right to take legal action but prior to in good faith I would like to formally request that your agencies facilitate a proper review on this issue and the conduct of Waterloo City and Regional Staff in regards to how they address these situations.
Please provide me with a written response to confirm this letter has been received and to update me on how these issues will be addressed by your respective departments.
Thank you kindly for your time.
Yours in good faith,
Louisette Lanteigne700 Star Flower Ave.Waterloo Ontario
