This is one Science Librarian's compilation of things the Harper government has shut down over the years relating to scientific research + health issues in Canada, and this long list/article was from May 2013, so there have been many more by now. This is so alarming, disgusting, disrespectful, damaging, and shocking that a government even thinks they have the right to do this, let alone to actually do it. I always believed knowledge is so incredibly important, but apparently they don't want that kind of knowledge. I just don't understand how and why they can do this, and its frightening.
