Do trees feature in this water exhibit?
I was amazed to attend the Water exhibit in Ottawa at the Museum of
Nature in 2011 where there was no mention of the role that trees play to
their cleaning and recharging effects on streams and aquifers after
rainfall. In fact, the trees are not part of nature in that museum. I
have not been back since but will check them out later this fall.
Eliminating the role of trees when discussing water is a symptom of silo
thinking. norah
