Hi folks
I reviewed the EA for St. Mary's proposal for the Olszowka Aggregate
Pit in Brant County.
Golder used 9 VERY shallow bore holes to base their modflow models on and the main one sitting in the Trout Creek is "missing" the Bore Hole installation info with the characteristics of sediment type. The site features a really cool sloped aquifer system that has peaked the interest of Bess Parker at Guelph University. The photo is in the attachments. The arrow points to the location of the missing bore hole data. I laughed when I saw that bit.
Here is my power
point comments that I intend to send to the local Council. http://www.slideshare.net/Waterloomoriane/concerns-re-olszowka-aggregate-pit
The EA data is here if others would like to chime in: http://cbmcommunityinfo.com/
A public open house regarding this is takling place on March 27th at the Burford Arena/Community Centre on 14 Potter Drive from 6 to 7pm Burford Ontario.
