[All] Media Release from the Region

I guess it's time to send our letters to the Editor in support of the
Region's decision.      We need our  recharge areas  left with the ability
to provide new community wells  for the new  residents   and we have been
trying to support  the HUNDRED MILE DIET  for the local  food  needs ,
and our oxygenating trees  to help to  improve the air quality  and there
are so many other reasons.  We should try to call the community to action
ASAP.    I wonder if John and Kevin  could contact  the local  news papers
and media  in  the area in representation of GREN  Guess we have to have a
starting point somewhere, and soon.    Ginny

Hello All,
I received a media release this evening that the Regional Council
unanimously supported an appeal of the OMB decision on the Regional Official
Plan! 
I think this is a bold decision and should send a strong message to the
development industry.
I wonder if GREN is interested in coming out with their own media release or
contacting Terry Pender/Jeff Outhit to make a comment on this decision?
