 Defend the Ontario Endangered Species Act

 

The Ontario government wants to punch a hole through its Endangered Species Act. A hole the size of a bulldozer, feller-bunch or dump truck. 

Join us in speaking up for our endangered species. 

The government has proposed a new loophole that could exempt mining, logging and energy companies from complying with the Act that protects more than 200 of our most threatened species. 

Fortunately, there is still time to comment on the proposed exemptions, but only until Monday, January 21. 

Please help us speak up for Ontario species.  Tell the government that exempting industry from the Endangered Species Act is reckless and irresponsible.
