REEP Special Update

Become a modern draft dodger! Host a Draftproofing Work Party for your friends, family and neighbours!

REEP Green Solutions has received a grant to help our community tackle their drafty homes. Drafts not only mean wasted energy that hits your pocketbook, they also make your home less comfortable.

We are looking for enthusiastic members of the community to host Draftproofing Work Parties for friends, families and neighbours. 

Contact us immediately if you are interested in taking part in this program. See below for information about the qualities that we are looking for in a Work Party Host!

Interested In Hosting a Work Party?

REEP's Draftproofing Specialist and a Certified Energy Advisor will provided detailed training, for you and your guests on how to draftproof correctly and they will allow you to practice your technique on our training displays.

As a Work Party Host, your home will be professionally draftproofed so that guests can see the best practices in action. 

The ideal Party Host will have:

*	Enthusiasm!
*	A drafty home
*	An older home  (pre-1950 preferred)
*	An accessible, uninsulated attic (or insulated with batts)
*	An unfinished basement

Party Hosts should also have a network of friends, family and neighbours living in older, drafty homes who are ready to take advantage of an expert training workshop and then draftproof their own homes.

Work Party Guests will also be eligible to receive support from REEP to maximize their own draftproofing.

There is a limited opportunity to take part in this program, so contact REEP ASAP if want to get involved.

If you are interested in taking part in the program as a Work Party Guest, we will collect your name and information and add you to a waiting list for possible spaces that may become available at the Draftproofing Work Parties.
