Hello GREN All -
I just wrote the e-mail below to Rick Mosher of Lystek co.
The audio for the conversation he had with the region's Planning and Works
cte on Aug 13 is supposed to be at this link:
http://view.earthchannel.com/PlayerController.aspx?&PGD=waterlooonca&eID=104
but I can't hear it on my computer.
(I happened to be at the mtg to make a presentation on transit fares.)

Hello Mr Mosher -
I spoke to you briefly last week after your presentation to Waterloo
Region's Planning and Works committee, on Lystek's proposal to turn
biosolids into liquid sludge at the plant to be built in Cambridge.
It concerned me that the Councillors didn't question you about
PHARMACEUTICALS in the wastewater: all the medications that have passed
through the human body and end up in our waterways.
If these substances remain in the liquid sludge that you propose to market
to farmers for use on their fields, what is the effect on crops? Does
anybody even know?
Can they be filtered out - and if so how are they then disposed of?
Thanks for any info you can provide.
Eleanor Grant
