25 groups calls for public inquiry into oil extraction methods in Canada in regards to the ongoing spill in Cold Lake Alberta.

TransCanada plans to switch natural gas pipe for east west oil plan angers gas customers who could BLOCK the conversion of the pipe.  A group of distribution companies (including Enbridge) and industrial users argue TransCanada is violating its responsibility to maintain flexible service on the mainline by forcing users off the line to accommodate its Energy East oil customers.

Guelph's Water Watchers and Council of Canadians had a victory as tribunal agrees that Nestle & Ontario Gov't  violated Ontario Water Resources Act & public interest when they allowed Nestle to withdraw their usual amount of water EVEN DURING DROUGHTS.  Full hearing ordered by tribunal.
