[All] Tornado landed in Melancthon today.

A tornado touched down just before 6:00 this evening in three confirmed locations in Melancthon Township.

The first location was along the 7th Line, north of Dufferin County 
Road 17. That resulted in downed Hydro wires for several kilometres 
north.
The second location was 4th Line Southwest, just north of County Road 17 where part of a barn was ripped off, and a tree fell on a parked 
boat.

The third location was Highway 10 southwest of County Road 17 where a roof was torn off a barn. There are no reportrs of injures to people or livestock, only property damage .

Highway 10 northbound and southbound between Dufferin Road 17 and the 3rd Line has been closed by the OPP to remove debris. Emergency 
services are on scene.    Dufferin OPP are cautioning Motorists to use 
caution on rural roads as several Hydro lines are down.
