Regarding the proposed Nuclear repository in Lake Huron.

Here is the response to concerns in consolidated format. 

Right from the get go I have concerns regarding the fact they rely on bore hole data for this outwash moraine system when they should use Ground Penetrating Radar instead. They also rely heavily on Modflow which assumes aquifers are simply self contained and data is often subjective, hard to repeat. Lots of issues to be found with rare species etc.

An updated consolidated table of information requests (IRs) and responses is now available on the Canadian Environmental Assessment Registry Internet site (Registry). This table replaces an earlier version of the file.
 
The table was prepared and continues to be updated by Ontario Power Generation (OPG) at the request of the Deep Geologic Repository Joint Review Panel.
 
Due to the large file size, the consolidated table is split between two documents:
·         Part 1 is available at http://www.ceaa-acee.gc.ca/050/documents/p17520/83464E.pdf  
·         Part 2  is available at http://www.ceaa-acee.gc.ca/050/documents/p17520/83466E.pdf
 
The table includes the IR reference number, the EIS Guidelines reference, the IR, a context section and the OPG IR response.
 
Interested Parties are reminded that submissions received or generated by the
Panel throughout the review are available on the Registryunder reference number 06‐05‐17520.

Une version actualisée du tableau récapitulatif des demandes d’information et des réponses connexes est maintenant affichée sur le site Internet du Registre canadien d’évaluation environnementale (le Registre). Ce tableau remplace une version précédente du fichier.
 
Le tableau a été préparé par Ontario Power Generation, qui en assure aussi la mise à jour, à la demande de la commission d’examen conjoint du projet de stockage dans des couches géologiques profondes.
