Just moments ago, Bill McKibbon posted the following article from Bloomberg on his twitter feed. The US has just declared the largest state of emergency in US history due to the fact 1000 counties and 26 states are now in a massive drought. This declaration is a game changer big time. We're talking US food and water security risks. Impact on lost agriculture spreads to food processors, distributors, vendors, restaurants, you name it. Impacts on environment, food security economy are enormous.
Climate change hit ground zero in the US and the public cannot deny it. This is a game changer folks.
