I'll let Desi Arnaz speak for me: [Enbridge (and Harper)]: you got some 'splainin' to do!
The following audioclip from CBC's As It Happens, Mon. Feb. 06, Part 3, beginning at minute 1:58: http://www.cbc.ca/asithappens/ interviews Robyn Allan, economist and former CEO of Insurance Corporation of BC (ICBC) who ran an economic analysis on Enbridge's Northern Gateway business case and found it a great big thumbs-down for Canadians in general, and, not surprisingly, a great big thumbs up for Enbridge/Big Oil/Big Finance. Allan's report, for those of you who are interested, can be found via the AFL website link above.
I'm sure there's potential for this to devolve into "our criteria, assumptions and numbers are more credible than your's" and failing that, the Feds/Enbridge/Big Oil/Big Finance will just inundate the media with more pro-Northern Gateway propaganda, but it'll be interesting to see how the P.R. and policy wonks handle this one.
Hopefully, Allan's report is the straw that breaks Northern Gateway's back. Kudos to her, and all activists/citizens on their efforts.
