The Office
 of Global Health at Western University in collaboration with The Centre for Family Medicine and Community Renewable Energy Waterloo invite you to an afternoon conference and evening panel entitled “Energy Futures & Health”.
 
This two-part event aims to enhance awareness and knowledge about systems to support optimal planning of future energy production and consumption in light of the linkages and inter-relationships between human health, the natural environment and climate change.
Join us for an event focusing on our environment and health on Wednesday September 12, 2012!
Part 1: Building a Clean & Healthy Energy Future
Location: The Centre for Family Medicine, 25 Joseph St., Kitchener, IPG Classroom  
Time:  1:00 – 5:00 p.m. 
Please register online for part 1 of the event by Wednesday, September 5, 2012. Discounted pre-registration!
*Video conferencing is also available for the afternoon portion of this event.  If you would like to join us through videoconference, please provide your OTN system number to catherine.arruda at family-medicine.ca
Part 2: How Ontario Can Lead Canada to a Low - Carbon Economy
Location: First United Church, 16 William St. West, Waterloo 
Time:  7:00 – 9:00 p.m. 
FREE community event, no registration is required.
