[All] Occupy Event update

Hi folks

Area concerned citizen Luke Greatrix has offered to speak at the Rally on Saturday. He has previous experience speaking with the media in regards to the Occupy Toronto movement and he has experience with envionmental issues at the local level etc.

I've got to confirm by 5pm tomorrow who are speakers will be for Saturday's Occupy rally, so that's the deadline if GREN wishes to endorse anyone speaking.

If GREN would rather host a display at the workshop that would be fine too.  The organizers are inviting groups to do displays regarding topics such as poverty, environment, sustainability in planning etc. We figure it's a great way to bridge the concerns voiced by the public to groups doing the local work towards the same goals. Great time to let folks know who GREN is and how they can become involved.
