[All] Tar and Chipping continued?!!!

Hi everyone

Thank you Kevin for filling us in. I was worried. 

I saw this article from the New Hamburg Independent that states Wilmot’s director of planning Harold O’Krafka is hoping to table a report in September to ask the region to initiate an environmental impact study as soon as possible to pave through the ESL arguing that the Wilmot Line is the only road within the ESL that isn’t paved. If no significant impacts are found, the township could be given a green light to tar and chip the road surface through the ESL. I've checked the city council minutes up to September and didn't specifically see data on this in the minutes but it might we worth checking out what the current status of this situation is. I would like to suggest that GREN take a position on this issue and p repair a delegate to present on the issue when the time comes. The next council meeting is scheduled for Oct. 17th.
