Hello Music Fans and Friends of Alternatives
We are so thrilled to have our MUSIC issue back from press (just hours
ago) -- and to be launching the MUSIC issue this Sunday at:
THE GRAND PORCH PARTY! [This Sunday 2:55-5 in the neighbourhood just
west of Uptown Waterloo -- more details at
http://grandporchparty.wordpress.com/ ]
The event has 20 porches as stages with an eclectic mix of amazing
talent. The launch kicks off with an aria piece from Murray Schaefer's
PATRIA. Then the crowd will disperse to their porch of choice. It's
gonna be great! Hope to see you there!
AND, come on out to this spring's STITCH 'N KITSCH
Saturday, June 11th, between 10am and 5pm, in the First United Church,
at King and William St., Waterloo
Waterloo Region's funkiest indie craft collective has invited
Alternatives as "special independent business" guest. Former
Alternatives employee Jessica Burman with be there with her delightful
organic body products. Plus so many cool creations from our community.
Stitch 'N Kitsch is an established tradition and occurs once a season.
Cheers,
Marcia
