[All] Suzuki Foundation feedback re: Melancthon Quarry

Hi folks
The report from the Suzuki Foundation is in the attachments. In a nutshell, Stantec's work is lacking to the point one can't reasonably assess risk yet Stantec implies there will be no loss of water resources. In the foundation's words: We question how these conclusions can be reached.
The fisheries studies are the same. No test times, shady methodologies etc. In the foundations words: We are at odds with these conclusions.
There are also concerns for species at risk at this location in regards to the Bobolink and Henslow’s Sparrow: The level of effort expended to assess the presence of threatened and endangered birds amounted to only a few field visits where taped calls of birds were played for only 6 minutes at a time! Surveys for amphibians involved roadside stops and listening for only 3 minutes.
