Hi folks
Building code suggestions are by way of the included form as seen in the attachments. Recommendations can be submitted any time for consideration at the next revision. Next year is when the program is to be updated. Feel free to make suggestions now.
Below is the response from the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing regarding this.

Mrs. Lanteigne,
The Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing accepts
proposed Code changes to the Building Code at all times for consideration.
Proposed code changes are reviewed for consideration at the next available
code development cycle.
I
have enclosed information and a proposed code change form for requesting
proposed revisions to the Building Code.
Registering with the Ministry's
CodeNews website provides notification to subscribers of Code-related activities
and updates to the 2006 Building Code and related documents. CodeNews is operated independently by the

Subject: Regarding Building Code
revisions
Hello
Will the public have a chance to submit
suggestions regarding the revision of the Building Code? The last policy
was released in 2006 and I didn't know of there was a 5 year point where
policies could be revised.'
Is there any set date as to when that
discussion with the public would begin in regards to this policy? We have
a great deal of expertise in our area regarding such issues and we would
like to participate.
Thank you kindly for your
time.
