Sorry I just found this as it was Feb. 23.
Anyone know about this group? Randy - has your gravel pit group ever allied
with this one? Or have the Covered Bridge people?

Roundtable
Over 7,000 acres of the best potato land in Dufferin County has been
purchased by a company wanting to mine aggregates. Across the province,
existing provincial and municipal policies do little to prevent the
conversion of prime agricultural land to gravel pits. What threats are we
facing in our area? Local farmers and activists will discuss their concerns
about food production and identify ways to take action.
