I am sending you the final details about the Seven Generations Challenge
kick-off happening this coming Wednesday, June 30th. The event will be held
at the brand new (and environmentally-friendly) office of Enermodal
Engineering from 7PM to 9PM. Directions to Enermodal are below. 

 

The events of the evening will include:

 

-          A presentation about what the Seven Generations Challenge is and
why we've invited you to be part of it now.

-          An introduction to our first challenge - Water Conservation. 

-          Food, drinks and discussion.

-          And for those who wish to stay after all that, a tour of
Enermodal's new office will be on offer.

 

What you need to bring:

 

-          Yourself and one other person from your household. We would
especially like to see parents and their kids come together.

-          If possible, please also bring the last twelve (12) months of
your household water bills. For those who don't have a water bill, start
thinking about how much time every week you use water for washing, cleaning
yourself, flushing, watering your lawn/garden, etc.

-          Please bring a water-related story you'd like to share with the
group. It could be a conservation trick, a fish tale, or a story about your
favorite swimming spot. Anything goes.

 

If you're committed to coming to at least this first of five challenge
meetings, please send an e-mail to Antoni, our coordinator, at
acpalesh at uwaterloo.ca as soon as possible. Water is our first challenge, but
it's just the start of a six month endeavor to act more sustainably as we
satisfy our daily needs. You don't have to be committed to the whole trial
period right now though, just the first meeting.

Directions to Enermodal:

The address is 582 Lancaster St. W. Kitchener.

The driveway is shared with Gallery on the Grand which is right on Lancaster
between Golf's Steak House and "The Lanc".

The front door will be locked, but someone should be waiting for you. If you
