Hi folks
 
My 2 cents worth regarding Jefferson Salamander preservation is attached if your curious. If you wish to view any of the specific attachments referenced, just email me which one you'd like to see and I'll send it your way. I figured now is good time to bring issues out in the open in order to assure reasonable testing criteria mandated with actual enforcement measures in place to prevent non compliance issues by a non biased agency. Not too much to ask for eh? If you never reach for the moon how will you know if it's out of grasp?
 
I'm quite optimistic about the last suggestion regarding how residents can amphibian proof their pools, window wells etc. I can't imagine there would be any resistance in retrofitting pre-existing homes with amphibian friendly items like little ramps to help them climb out and survive. It's really not that complicated but it can make for big changes in overall mortality rates if applied. Every critter counts.
